Shekia Jasper b.k.a. Re-Wyne was born May 17, 1990 in Elizabeth, NJ. She lived in Linden, NJ until she was 5 years old. Then she moved to Roselle, NJ. So you can say all her life she's been in the (908).
Shekia b.k.a. Re-Wyne's dream to be a rapper came to her when she was 13 years of age. She loved listening to the rappers Ludacris, and Busta Rhymes back then. Listening to them inspired her.
Re-Wyne started writing rap lyrics at 13 also. She practiced. And started to rap in front of her friends, and family. They told her she was good, and that she should keep going. So she did.
Re-Wyne got better, and better over the years. So she decided to do shows. At 16 years of age she did her first show. It was in South Orange, NJ. The crowd went wild as they listened to this girl's flow. They said the hook along with her, and gave a great applause. After that Re-Wyne knew she had a talent, and was destined to make it.
