I'm the daughter of Commissioner James Gordon, partners of BatMan and Robin, and a Gotham University student. I became partners with BatMan and Robin when I was about 18. My father was set up by Two Face for taking bribes from Rupert Thorne. I asked for the help of BatMan to appear at a public rally for my father, but BatMan said no. So, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I dressed up in a bat suit and attended the rally myself. Robin spotted me as an impostor and began chasing after me. He grabbed the back of my cowl and revealed my, at the time, fiery red hair. BatGirl was born. With my gymnastic abilities and innovative detective work, I gained the respect of BatMan and Robin. I've been working side by side with them ever since. As of today, I'm working as a librarian and about to graduate Gotham University.
