Shelagh is the songwriter, guitarist, bassist & drummer in Shelagh & The Mohawk Blues. She is a London based songwriter/musician whose major influences are Social Distortion, Bad Religion, Sex Pistols, The Smiths, The Cure, Morrissey, and other various bands. Shelagh's inspirational and often outspoken lyrics are supported by her catchy “sing along†choruses and melodic guitars.
Shelagh has a sound that has quickly made her well known within the music industry. It is a sound that is on the airwaves today, not only on alternative radio, but in the mainstream market as well. By combining her considerable songwriting skills and musical talents, Shelagh has developed her own special brand of “Punk†with a positive vibe and direction and a distinct image that suits her style and sound.
