About Me

im currently in the Army serving with the 56th SBCT. Im "mobing" out of Camp Shelby, MS and then heading over to Camp Taji, Iraq. Im enjoying my time here and trying to make the best out of it. Me and the guys can make any situation a fun one and i owe a lot to them. They keep me sane and in control when i normally would easily flip out. So thanks to the guys at the 108th especially Lockey, Kiner, Graver, Simons, Wagner, Rodriguez. I would clear a building and take a bullet for these guys anyday. Most people dont understand why we do what we do. Why soldiers volunteer to go back over time after time. Its the special bond that you get with the guys that you deploy with. The bond that you have each others back no matter what happens and would risk your life for each and every one of them. These guys are my family. They are there for me when my family cant be. They keep me alive. Thanks men. We will be battles for life.

My Interests

I hunt and fish. I love being outdoors, just walking in the woods is fine with me. I love my army life and the challenges that it gives me. I also dont have a problem with just sitting down and opening up a good book.

I'd like to meet:

I dont really want to meet anyone right now. If the question was who would i like to be with, I would have to say without a doubt my beautiful lady back home. We have spent over 3 years together and have stuck by each others side through thick and thin. Thank you courtney for always being there for me and for supporting me with my career decisions. Thank you also for staying strong while i take this next journey in my career.

Music:

I listen to country. Im much a redneck and am proud of it. I also listen to a little rap, that dirty south shit and some rock when im working out.

Movies:

I enjoy watching action movies about war and basically killing. Favorites are Saving Private Ryan, Black Hawk Down, The Hunted, Basic, Rules of Engagement, Boondock Saints, Deliverance. Im not guna lie, i have been suckered into watching a few romance type movies like the notebook, sweet home alabama, a walk to remember, and the cinderella story, which i have to say arent that bad.

Television:

Books:

Where the red ferns grow is one of my favorites and i will own a redbone coonhound in the near future. I also read a lot of historical fiction about the Vietnam war. John Grisham is another favorite author of mine who writes legal thrillers.

Heroes:

My hero has to be my highschool football coach, Coach War. The man changed me and pushed me to the point where i gained respect and excepted nothing less than perfection. To him, i say Thank You.
