Born in Angola on the 8th of March 1991, shaduno (Aka Shadow) came to England a baby but has still kept hold of his culture through family and friends, and tends to use a lot of his culture in the way he composes his music. He first acquired a passion for music at the age of 14 while attending secondary school (hackney free and parochial) where he took music for GCSE and has been trying to work at it ever since.Having no experience in composing music at the time he often sat back and watched his friend Young Roc as he composed music at Antonio’s Auntie’s house until he thought he was ready to make his own.Having not known any Artists when he first begun composing he went on to writing lyrics and vocaling his own instrumentals taking a non serious approach to the industry until being told by friends and family that he had talent in both being a producer and in being an Artist. He then took it upon himself to enrol in a music production course but soon dropped it as he felt it didn’t match what he wanted. After that he spent almost 4 months trying to find something that did match what he wanted. He almost gave up and most surely would of if his friend and also an Artist itchy hadn’t told him about a course in Waltham Forest which, shaduno has now completed receiving a level 3 in music production and a level 2 in music business. Since then shaduno has gone on to produce a number of music including co-producing a soundtrack for a show in stratford circus called ''Portrait Of A Nation'' with names such as Shredda and NEB.He then took part in another show in stratford circus called "Unity 4 U 2 See" Hosted by "Fusion" and "Dv8" but this time as a performer alongside "Itchy" with theyre Club anthem "Skankin" which got a wide approval from the sold out audience.Recently he has called himself shaduno because he believes as he is unique in his style of music so should be his name but his artist name still remains shadow.Influenced by “Timbaland”, “Grenade” and less known Portuguese producers such as Dj Nelson. Shaduno often will sometimes listen upon hours to their music until he has come up with a new idea but has yet to find his own style to call his own even though some of the ideas he brings to the table are different.Shaduno has collaborated with Various Artists including Itchy, Shredz, Trunks, Splintz and Young Roc and is always looking for fresh new talent that he feels deserve to make it in the industry. He is currently unsigned and feels he is not ready to be signed until he has proved to himself that he can go toe to toe with the best and win and once he has finished his education he looks to work for a record label or maybe even one day own one.With only 2 years in the music industry so far, it seems he is is quickly building up a name for himself as an all round producer and artist which can record his own tracks and also bring life to a stage.Shaduno has an eclectic taste in music, which has helped him cross over boundaries. He is thought of by alot of the artists in the U.K as one of the best of his age group. By drawing from many influences and fusing different musical genres, he has created a fresh new style.
