About Me

Been working at the University California, Davis for 18 years in Accounting and Financial Services. I love to draw and paint fantasy and musically inspired paintings, cards and designs. I enjoy playing guitar and singing Donovan, Gordon Lightfoot, old blues, Leo Kottke, Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, the Who, Kinks etc. In my spare time I love to hike around Northern California and pursue another hobby, photography. Concert going fills up more time, flying from coast to coast to see Donovan and my Eternal Sea family and around Northern California to see Leo Kottke as well as the occasional Celtic Music group or Nine Inch Nails with my daughter.
When vacation time rolls around, I enjoy the beaches of San Diego, Bodega Bay, Santa Cruz, Monterey, Hawaii and even San Francisco. I love exploring San Francisco, especially with my good friend, Judy or my brother-in-law, Darell and San Diego on our annual trip with my daughter.
Four times a year I get together with the Four Amigos for great food, drinking, conversation, goofiness and game playing. The Four Amigos have been meeting for nearly 20 years, but have known each other for more than 30 years. I also love to get together three or four times a year with my old friends from the UCD Medical Center for dinner and conversations and sharing pictures and stories of our journeys and lives.
I also enjoy the friendship of my wonderful extended family in Cyberspace, the Eternal Sea Family, some of whom I've met, but all of whom are wonderful, caring folks. The most important things to me are friends and family. The times I spend with any of you are the memories I treasure most.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I've already met and talked to Donovan three times, but I'd like to meet with him again for more than two minutes. Same with Leo Kottke, I've met him and talked very briefly, and it was a great pleasure, but it would be fun to have more time.
Enya...I'm sure I'd melt if I met my fiancee, lawdy, lawdy.
Meeting most celebrities is kinda dry, most are just like us...I've met or had a chance for an autograph picture or short talk with Jerry Garcia, Bob Weir, Peter, Paul and Mary, Gordon Lightfoot, Donovan, Leo Kottke, Joan Baez, Mimi Farina, Judy Collins, Jane Fonda, John Renbourne.
Great regrets, never having a chance to meet John Fahey, whose music introduced me to leo Kottke and John Renbourne.
