I'm a singer-songwriter playing around York and London, UK. Unlike many contemporary acoustic artists I'm interested in delivering acoustic music with a kick, using the guitar as an instrument in its own right and experimenting with contrasts in tone.
As far as influences go, I'm keen to learn from good songwriters and poets, whether they be the old greats like Cat Stevens or the young guns like Pete Doherty. If it inspires thought or feeling then I'm all ears.
Over the last six months I've been playing shows up and down the country, doing live slots on radio and laying down some demo tracks.
