From the industrial landscape emerges another dreamer with a drummachine.As a child NEVMEGA would daydream about the deep soul music and and new wave concoctions emitting from his clock radio. From comic books to video and film and later interactive programming, NEVMEGA tried desperatly to regain that freedom he felt as a small boy. Each new experiece only served to deepen his love for music and related arts.A chance encounter with a local rap group led to his introduction to several pioneers in the old-skool detroit sound. He was hooked and began to work at the original Electrofunk Records in Detroit. After it broke apart he returned to the underground and moved into a small shack in Hamtramck which led to his personal journey into sound.It was at 35 Grand River that he reconnected with long time friend Scott Coleman and his community of artists and performers. During this time NEVMEGA began to perform live as well a develop as love of the performance DJ lifestyle. He was hooked again!! For two years his life was beats, records, art, and occasional sleep. Unfortunately like all things, even this too would change. The creative den soon unraveled at the seems. NEVMEGA simply returned to his little corner of detroit to re-build once more.Now with a hand full of edits, remixes and original material he aims to "restore the feeling" of making progressive music with soul and character.
