SUSHI INSTITUTE OF AMERICA in Los Angeles,CA - A PLACE OF LEARNING AND TRAINING FOR PROFESSIONAL CHEFS AND CULINARY ENTHUSIASTS. Along with heightened popularity of Japanese restaurants in North America, Sushi has become a commonplace in the lives of many Americans. However, together with that market growth, shortages both in the number of Sushi chefs and in skills levels have now becoming an alarming concern. Having been involved in the Japanese food industry for many years in Los Angeles, the Mecca where Japanese food first found its roots outside of the homeland, this condition has prompted us to establish Sushi Institute of America, a place of learning and training for Sushi chefs. We are fully committed in education for the industryâ€™s chefs of tomorrow.
