About Me

I was born in 1976 in Grenoble, France. At the age of 7, I started to play guitar. At the beginning I learned autodidacticly; I played along to The Stones, AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith and The Stooges, etc. My first band (that didn't have any name) started to play shows in 1988.
In 1997 I started to take some lessons from Christophe Godin to improve my technique. That year I also moved to Geneva, Switzerland.
I have played and have been playing in different bands:
Groove Mania was a band that was formed in my music school in 1998. We played in Casablanca, Morocco for 1 month in 1999, covers of James Brown, Herbie Hancock, The Stones, Lou Reed, The Doors, everything you could possibly want to hear.
Back in Geneva, me and some friends founded a Led Zepplin-cover band named Zoso (1999-2004).
In 2003 I was asked to play in the band of Bernie Constantin, in which I'm still active as rhythm-guitarist.
In 2004, the old members of Zoso started Silver Dirt . The first album Sonic Boom was released in 2005. We have played many concerts (more than 100), mainly in Switzerland and France. The second album Never Give Up will be released this year.
This year I also started to play in a cover-band where we cover songs of the Stones, Chuck Berry, U2 and Jimi Hendrix and many others.
I play only Gibson Les Pauls and vintage Marshall amplifiers.
I am currently working on the 3rd album of Silver Dirt.
I am also looking for a job as studio- or live guitarist. (Only serious offers) Please don't hesitate to contact me, once my music has been uploaded here and be convinced that playing guitar is my life!
