CLAN MORRIGAN

Welcome to the Clan Morrigan myspace site. Formed in early 1994, the Clan went on to tour the country at a rate of around 5 gigs a week for about the next 3 years before their final gig at Crewe Limelight. Their journeys took them from Middlesboro to Brighton and every Celtic pub and O'Neills bar inbetween. Even years after the band split, I still see a few people from that era who talk about the old gigs, supporting Wolfstone in Levenshulme, my favourite ever gig with Tower Struck Down at the Buckley Tivoli, Camden Irish Festival, the Wrexham Kings Arms gigs that were always amazing, the list goes on...... Anyone with any memories please get in touch. I still see band members from time to time, most recently violin play Jay who has a new band and is playing a lot around the Llandudno/Conwy area. More details will be posted of his bands gigs as and when but if you are in that area and are passing a pub with psychotic fiddle music coming out of it, pop in as it's probably him! Also just found out Skeeter has a new musical outfit called The Soya Paranoia Project and can be found on myspace and hopefully you'll find him as one of our top friends soon, please Skeet!!My names Christian (or Mr Benn as Mark would call me) and I sold their merchandise, produced their Clanzine and worked on the mixing desk so its quite fitting I do this. A reunion???? If Justin Lee Collins can help me find them all and make it into a tv show , maybe. Otherwise I doubt it but enjoy the site and go and see Jay's new band or check out Skeeter's site.
