My name is Ashley and I'm a college student... I work at this place called Starbucks (I don't know if you've heard of it). People like to come in and buy coffee from us just to walk around with our cool cups! It's a status thing....But seriously, I do like my job, and I meet new, random people everyday so it's fun. I want to live in London someday, and have a home in Manhattan at some point as well. I like to just chill, go to movies, dance! I can be a bitch sometimes, and I won't be afraid to tell you how I feel ever. So if you can't deal with truth, don't ask. I love music (it's my life), I love my family, my life and most importantly, I love God... He's amazing! I love my friends! But I do not make them my *whole* life like many other people do. Because in ten years I'll be lucky if I still talk to 3 of them. BUT They know I love them.. they know they will be my *entourage* when I get famous... they know they'll be right by my side! I do not like guys right now, and I'm not dating anyone until I graduate from college- I think.... I have to much to be worrying about right now.. *School*my singing career*my job*and my health*......I love the color purple, I love Prince, and I love Purple Rain..! I love jazz music... anything with a bass, or sax or cello. I worry too much, and I can get depressed easily, but I'm working on that! :o)
I spend as much time in the studio as I can... mostly doing back-up vocals and hooks for people... Or even just sleeping on the studio floor...And hopefully I'll finish my demo SOON. Recording heart-felt music is the LOVE of my life. And I'm only doing the back-up vocalist gig for the experience.A few more essentials -- I can't ever have enough shoes.. Or purses for that matter. I can drive in my car and sing for hours and I'll be perfectly happy. Sometimes I will finish 3 or 4 books in a week, and then not read a book for a month. I will shop for hours, talk about musical theatre for hours, and mess with my sidekick for hours. This isn't even half of the basics, so if you want to know more about me, just ask, man!
