About Me
Kyle Knopf is a filmmaker out of Buffalo, NY. There he attended the University of Buffalo getting his degree in Media Study with a concentration in Film Production. While attending he directed and/or shot sixteen shorts on both 16mm and miniDV. “Shattered,†a short film written and directed by Kyle, won honorable mentions at the National Columbia Undergraduate Film Festival for both directing and cinematography in 2005. He was also chosen by his professors to receive the Pierre McAloon award, an award given to two students in the department who display outstanding creativity in film production. Now based in Austin, TX, Kyle has taken two classes at the Austin School of Film furthering his knowledge under the teachings of Kat Candler and Stacy Schoolfield. Bad JuJu Productions is the creation of writer/director Kyle Knopf. Located in the heart of Austin, Texas; Bad JuJu is a celebration of the horror genre. Whether it's slasher, campy, grindhouse, giallo, creature features, ect., it is my dream to pay homage to these films that I grew up with. Please feel free to leave some comments.
