My Interests

I love, love, love to write. I read too but writing relieves my stress.

I'd like to meet:

If anyone spots Morris Chestnut out there, tell him to come home to mama. Tell him I ain't mad, I was just waiting patiently.

Music:

Jill Scott all the way, like y'all didn't know. In addition, I am inspired by Mary J. Blidge, Musiq Soulchild, Brian McKnight and anyone else who sings real music that relates to real people. Don't get me wrong, I listen to thug-em music, just not as my first choice.

Movies:

Any Tyler Perry movie, my favorite (at the moment) being Why Did I Get Married. I love stupid comedies like Old School, and somehow I built up an Adam Sandler and Martin Lawrence collection. Needless to say I love comdies but I am a movie junkie and would give anything a chance.

Television:

I only watch TruTV, and All My Children. I try to keep up on the news and politics, but the criminal mind interest me, maybe that's why I can't find a decent man. Hmmm?

Books:

The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood. You guys should read it. It will make you think. I also love anything that has to do with Nostrodamus.

Heroes:

My mother and God.
