I'm just a down to earth good hearted person,If you would like to know more, get at me!!!
A quick look at my DJ Career in Las Vegas:
This was back in the days where there wasn't hardly any hip hop music played in the major clubs, so we had to find our own spots to have parties everywhere from apartment club houses to sports bars etc!!!
Here is a quick rundown of some spots I DJed at:
NCO Club on Nellis AFB - This was when the base was poppin and there was line out to the parking lot waiting to get into the All Niters.
Tarkanians - Located across from UNLV the year the Rebels won the championship and yes the team use to come and party with us.
VFW - Across from the AFB, it was a hole in wall but we still got our groove on.
Patrica's - Across from the Sahara Casino, it only held 50 people but some how we got 200 in there.
The Place - I don't know, we just called it that, it was somewhere off of I-15. It was mostly college students ..we partied so hard in that place people would take thier clothes off....
Shark Club - We was only able to get that spot because it was closing. But it was still cool
Fuddy Duddys - This was the Sunday night hang out. Always poppin.
Eddies, now called BarCode- Just a joint we found on Spring Mountain... It was cool...
Club 662,former owner Surg Knight- Now Club 702, it was mostly opened when there was a big fight in town, always had celebs in the house.....
Runway 21 - Need i say more....
Club 1030 - This was the only Black owned club near the strip... It was laid out with velvet couches and chairs..glass tables, candles etc... the works....just never got off the ground....
Club Utopia - I was there before they closed the doors... had some great times in there....I was in the VIP room djing later moving to the main floor....
Komo Kitchen - For all the 18 and over parties...damn that shit was fun though..you all remember them black outs!!!
Here are a few special parties I DJed at, this doesn't include all the after parties for concerts, just up and close personal parties:
Wayne Newton's New Years Eve party: This was when he was at the Hilton. Andrew Dice Clay was there filming home video's. I taught them how to do the Electric Slide. We had a damn good time!!!
Surg Knights house party: This shit was from 6pm till 6am.. Ja Rule even was there and did his song "Always on Time" Thanks Dantana for that hook up!!!
Episode of 'The Watcher': This series was filmed here in Vegas with Sir Mix Alot. In this episode i was the DJ in a sceen with Coolio....Hell yeah i got paid for it!!!!!
R. Kelley's Suite Party at the MGM: This was during the Billboard Awards after he filmed his part of the show...He's a cool down to earth dude...To me he is the Marvin Gaye of the 2000's...Thanks to my boy Lexo for this one.
Well there you have just some of the places and parties I have done..I'll add more when I think of them...
