CONVERGENT EVOLUTIONS

Convergent Evolution (n): is the evolutionary process where organisms not closely related, independently evolve similar traits of each other as a result of having to adapt to ecological niches, changing environments and, in our case, sociologically challenging structures within interpersonal realities and our general society. ____________________________________________________________ __________________________ Convergent Evolutions (CE) focuses on working within our community at various levels to help individuals thrive with creativity, health and balanced well being; so that we, as a community, may continue to provide for ourselves and each other creatively, socially, healthfully and financially. To do this, Convergent Evolutions works with local business owners, local artists and local healthcare practitioners to provide grassroots healthcare and ‘alternative’ support for those in need. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ How Convergent Evolutions works with Local Businesses: Local business owners, small and large, are encouraged to advertise in our program brochures for our various events through out the year. These events range from small acoustic musical performances to DJ driven rave parties and from ‘black tie’ gallery openings to ‘trend setting’ fashion shows. Not only are these events a cost effective way to advertise, they are also a great opportunity for business associates to engage within their own community and with each other in a very meaningful way. Businesses can either buy ad space in event programs or rent booth space at any of our events. All proceeds from ad space sales or booth rentals are allocated toward the production of each event. All proceeds from the event’s ticket sales are allocated toward paying healthcare practitioners who have provided care for those in extreme need both physically and financially due to debilitating or life threatening illness. ____________________________________________________________ __________________________ Convergent Evolutions works with Local Healthcare Practitioners: Local Healthcare Practitioners both allopathic and alternative are encouraged to work with Convergent Evolutions to provide those suffering with debilitating or life threatening illnesses find the medical support they need during times of physical and financial struggle. When an individual is struggling to provide for themselves and for their families, amidst a catastrophic health event, expensive medical costs are an added burden and strain to the well being of the individual. CE hopes to relieve this burden by working with practitioners to provide necessary healthcare at little or no cost to the individual. CE supports practitioners who give of their services because they recognize that the first step toward health is well being--emotionally, physically and spiritually. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Local Artists and Convergent Evolutions: We work with local artists to provide comfortable venues for the artist and the patron. The artist is honored for their talent and creativity both publicly and financially. Our artists are encouraged to help promote the events as their own, showing their involvement in the community as a creative force artistically and socially. Their public association with CE shows their commitment to providing for their community and for themselves. Without artists and their creative statements, an integral part of our culture and creative health would be lost. Finally, CE artists have undergone a rigid screening process guaranteeing that they are among the world’s most creative and consciously aware talent. ____________________________________________________________ __________________________
