Ever since I can remember I have loved singing. I was raised listening to a lot of reggae music and soulful artists such as, Rolce Royce, Luther Vandros, Whitney Houston etc. Although I class my main genre as ‘Urban Pop’.
In my time, growing up, my first influences were Destiny’s Child and Tupac Shakur. Destiny’s Child covered the female strength and beauty, and Tupac satisfied the creative, intelligent and articulate side of me, inspiring and amazing me until today.
I set goals and knew what my dreams were at a very young age and I have previously been on an audition and sang in my secondary school a number of times. However, it is only recently that I have made the time and had the opportunity, to take my dream seriously.
My main interest is singing/song writing, however I am a singer/song writer and model - this involves doing video shoots (Stutta - 'I’m that guy’).
At the same time as studying to become a Legal Secretary, I have been working hard, doing what I love; writing and recording songs, expressing what I feel with a beat, simply talking through my peers, featuring on a track and experimenting with ‘the magic that is music’©.
In the near future I hope to be promoted and discovered with what I do, go straight to the top and become not only a professional, but a successful solo artist of my time. I wish to sing so that people can leave their fears and struggles behind for just a few moments when they listen to me!
