To change the world, you have to take risks

About Me

I graduated college in 2006 from The University of Texas, one of my most cherished accomplishments thus far in life. I am now working on trying to run a company which is an interesting task to say the least. I tend to speak my mind a little too often, but am still one of the most loyal and caring people you will meet, a lot of the time to my own detriment. I enjoy going out (way too often, but it has its perks) and meeting new people. I definitely love playing and watching sports as much as possible and am a huge Longhorns, Astros, Rockets and Giants fans in their respective seasons.

My Interests

Basically the average guy interests. Beer, sports, sleeping. Business ranks up there as well. I've gotten a lot more into reading as well now that I'm out of school. TV, and music are fun too.

I'd like to meet:

A lot of historical people would be interesting. Especially those in Sports, just to kind of pick their brains on how different sports was then. I wouldn't mind meeting all your usual power figures in today's culture as well.

Music:

Texas Country, starting to like mainstream Country less and less, basically anything but the whole Fray, Jack Johnson, or other similar type music, and also anything but the whole whiny emo scene, or hardcore rapAs far as Austin goes I like Eric Tessmer, The Trey Stapleton Band, I Need More Cowbell, Andy McIntyre, Dave Swaintek, Dorkstar, Subrosa Union, NOT the Spazmatics, and The Everyday People

Movies:

Old School, Anchorman, Friday Night Lights, Rules of Engagement, Oceans 11, 12, and 13, Radio, Animal House, Tommy Boy, Black Sheep, Home Alone, The Big Lebowski, Rudy, Field of Dreams, Bull Durham, Major League, The Replacements, The Shining, SuperTroopers, and Fight Club

Television:

Family Guy, Simpsons, Sportscenter, King of the Hill, Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Friends, MTV and VH1 reality anything, Scrubs

Books:

My Prison Without Bars - book about Pete Rose which gives a lot of insight into why he did what he did as a manager, but also shows the ungodly amount of determination he played with on a daily basis.

Heroes:

My grandfather. I have learned everything I know today from him, and can truly say I am the person I am today because of him.
