Harry Kapeliaris

Harry Kapeliaris was born and raised in Greece,Athens on 1971.He took his first music lessons from his father who was a singer of traditional greek music at age 14 .At his teens he formed a rock-blues band BLUESBURGER and played for 7 years several concerts and gigs all over Greece but his interest for fusion made him to quit the band and study music and devote himself on making his own music.Although he studied music through lessons and seminars he consider himself as a street musician.Now he works as a guitarist on local clubs and studios.He works also as a arranger for the greek independent label MUSICMIRROR -www.musicmirror.gr- . At 2005 he released his first instrumental cd “Journey to Light” . At 2006 the follow up "Return" .Kapeliaris wraps up by noting long-term and forthcoming endeavors insightfully, by saying, "I'm playing on the upcoming CD from Manos Achalinotopoulos and I'm writing tunes for my new CD His future plans are a instructional dvd on greek scales and rhythms.
