About Me

Brought to you by: www.band-flyers.com
Masters of Struggle rock. "The Great American Album " Released on June 7th 2008. At the end of Febuary the band headed to to Sound of Music Studios in Richmond Va to finish some recording. David Lowery ( Cracker, CamperVan Bethoven) will produced and acted as over all shaman. Besides being a tremendous artist, David has produced some great musicians ie:Joan Osbourne, Counting Crowes etc.. and we are very excited to work with him. This was the last phase of the recording process for us. WINESKIN : Masters of struggle rock! They are generally a little heavier than the typical jam/hippy acts and tend to emphasize songwriting before jamming. Their root sounds are more like Cream, Zeppelin, Foghat and some stew of 70'style classic rock. The band has ingredients from all over the American musical landscape. They are compared to Gov’t Mule and Widespread Panic by live music freaks. It is definitely their own blood and guts that pours out and by no means attempts to sound like anyone else, nor does it!. If you like pychedelia, jambands, classic rock from the valley, you will like Wineskin. ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------------------------FREE DOWNLOADS @ WWW.WINESKINBAND.COM---------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------------------------------------Based in the foothills of the Doylestown / New Hope area Wineskin is playing clubs and festivals throughout Pa, New Jersey and NY. Over the years they have toured and SHARED THE STAGE WITH some diverse and great bands. many listed below Agents of Good Roots, CRACKER, WEEN, STRANGEFOLK, THE NEW DEAL, DISCO BISUITS, KELLER WILLIAMS, THE RADIATORS, JUGGLING SUNS, BORIS GARCIA, MOISTBOYZ, BERNIE WORRELL, THE WAILERS, etc. To date the band has completed two original full length albums that were recorded and produced at Indre Studios in south Philadelphia and the band will soon be featured in the independent film “ The Last One” due out this fall. . Wineskin is playing an endless series of shows from the legendary Knitting Factory in NYC to Philadelphia’s Electric Factory and every bar in between. The band delivers sweet melodies, honest vocals and guitar work reminiscent of Eric Clapton, Robin Trower & Mick Taylor. Their galvanizing galactic sound combined with a spirited and smokey stage presence immediately captures a crowd and is beginning to create one where ever they play. Their live shows are phenomenal and the band is everything this piece of propaganda professes them to be.Contact and Booking: Evan Walton 215.327.4709 www.Wineskinband.com [email protected] Evan Walton- Guitar, Vocal, antagonist/ Tim Stevens - Drums, profanity/ Joe "Bones" Bonner - Keys & Ivory
