The Clarion Reptile & Exotic Animal Team - Urgent Rescue & Education Program

We are a small, no kill rescue located in Clarion, PA. We started this rescue after hearing all the reports of unwanted reptiles being dumped along roads by their owners or (when people can find one)turned in to Humane Societies that are already full of dogs and cats and may not be able to care for a reptile properly.

Along with finding new homes for animals we also focus on educating reptile owner's on how to properly care for their reptiles. We also try to educate the general public about reptiles and exotic animals to help them understand these animals better.

Adoptions are available to both the general public and to contributing members of The Creature Program.
A contributing member of The Creature Program is a supporting member who donates a small, $10 annual fee. These donations go into a fund to partially cover our operating expenses.
The way this works is pretty simple. When a snake, lizard, turtle or frog is in need of rescue it is made available first to contributing members of the Creature Program. If none of the contributing members adopt the animal within two weeks, the animal will be made available to the public.
