It's strange what can happen when 2 people from different states sharing the same favorite band collaborate musically. The mission began over 2 years ago when BT's band was in a dead end search for lead singers. Having been fans of the band Sponge as long as the band existed, Birk and BT met up on a Sponge message board and began casually discussing the band, trading rare collectibles, etc. Little did they know each had an amazing ear for capturing that sound onto cd themselves, with much added diversity. Birk was a vocalist from Chicago waiting to find the right musicians, BT was located in Kentucky looking to escape a band who's beginning was basically it's end. Once they established their musicianship, demos were sent, more songs were written, motivation sparked...along came GoldenSilver. Creating a huge wall of arena-ready guitar hooks and blistering solos, BT brings his original stamp of guitar virtuosity and tone with smoking barrels. Birk having listened to all legendary singers of rock n rolls past and present, combined with a keen sense of melody of modern music assumes role as lead singer. Birk spread's feeling and emotion in every note that he sings, and pours his heart into all of his lyrics, which practically anyone can relate to. Birk is currently in the great city of Chicago and BT resides in Florida. But in the months to come, this band which started as a shot in the dark from other states, is now a bright shining light and will be coming to you before you know it.
