Capital-"X" BioBrooklyn born Capital-X is CEO and the dominant force of I.G.W.T. Record$/Entertainment. With a track record that can be traced back to the legendary Disco Fever in the South Bronx, X is far from a new jack.

Besides being in and out of a number of rap groups, X makes no secret of the fact that he has also been in and out of prison. Serving nearly a third of his life behind bars, X says he has no regrets for the road he has traveled in life, for it has made him who he is today.
Using his past experiences behind bars, and his life on the streets, X constructs rhymes that make one to ponder. Though he labels himself a hardcore rapper, one can't help but to notice the heavy influence the old school has been on him, as well as today's underground sound. Mixing his positive messages in with braggadocios spices, along with real life dark tales, makes for great listening.
Since being released from his last prison bid in 2001, serving 4 years of a 13 and a half year sentence, X has been unstoppable. First releasing his first solo EP titled Da Un-X-Pected in September 01. After the September release of his EP, X began playing live in November of 2001 and has not stopped since. His travels have covered the entire country and beyond. He has also worked with a number of different artists on independent projects, as well as promoting some of Dirty Jerz's hottest hip hop events.
X is currently working on his first solo full length CD, "305375" due to be released in the summer of 2007. Keep your ears to the street for the release of the first single "Life" dropping in Spring 07. He also has a mix tape titled "The Score" out now. The Score features 12 hot up and coming artists.
