STONE is a professional cover project playing everything from classic rock, contemporary rock, R/B and dance music. The band consists of some of San Antonio's finest and talented musicians...Michael Paul Grothues (Lead Vox/ Flute)- Mike has a long history of great projects behind him. Mike is the pulse of STONE with his energetic and powerful soulful voice. His creative infectious flute playing is uncomparable and amazing...Bassist/Guitar player Mickey Pena and Drummer Rene Segura are one of San Antonio's tightest rhythm sections around. They play with emotion and soul that only seasoned players can bring to the stage. Mick and Rene are true showmen and have a long history of successful bands and live music...Guitarist David AlcocerIII is somewhat of a local icon. He has a history that goes back over 20 years with some of the best bands San Antonio has had to offer. Dave has an edgy, energetic style on his guitar and vocals, great, great chops( that don't hurt either...) and he gives new life to alot of the classic songs that we play.Dave together with Michael Paul and Mick bring tight consistent vocal harmonies that are some of the STONE signature sound, vibe and groove.....
