I looked at my profile today and realized I haven't updated it in a while... So here I go.
Lately I've had a large handful of people tell me one or more of the following: 1.) That I'm too young to be in a serious relationship 2.) That I should have fun while I'm in my "prime" 3.) Zach, you seem unhappy you need to get a life...
Let me tell you all something... first of all There are people younger than me that are married with children so I think that just having a serious relationship at 21 is not a crime. Plus I've been in enough relationships in the past 6 years of me being gay that I think I know when I'm ready for a serious one. 2nd of all I'm done having my "fun". I've been sexually active since I was 14 so I think that 6 years of being wild is enough for my taste. It's really worn me out and I've just realized about a year ago that I have more dignity in myself than to give my body up to multiple random people. And 3rd... I'm not unhappy. I love Justin... We're coming up on 9 months and I still feel like we just met. We've never ever had one little fight and we even live together... yeah we have our occassional disagreements but who doesn't. How many couples can say they live together and don't fight. Not alot these days. I'll admit, I did think about getting rid of Justin after about 2-3 months because that's basicly what I always do... I get bored and let them go or the other way around. But I decided to stick with it. Justin is the only man that I've met that is caring, sweet, down to earth, drama free, simple, and cares more about me than anyone in his life. He is the most geniune person I've ever come across and that's just something I'm not willing to give up, cause the chances of coming across someone like that again are slim to none.
So... to all of you out there (in my eyes)... "life is about having fun and being happy, but the thing that a lot of people don't realize is that different things make different people happy and what's fun to one person may not be fun to another." So be happy and have fun, and YOU be the judge of what makes you happy and what you consider fun. This is Zach... Love you all...
