About Me

Hi, My name is Bob. I began playing guitar in the Army while in Germany, where I developed many acoustic fingerstyle techniques. I attended Los Angeles City College in Hollywood as a Music Major specializing in vocal training. In 1980 I decided that live performance was the way to go and began performing as a bass player with country bands around Santa Maria, California. As a result I became attracted to the bass and as a result made it my performing choice ever since. In 1988 I started work on "Slow Down" which was a solo effort to showcase my songwriting as well as collaborative skills. I returned to Pennsylvania in 1989 and started playing with local bands. Keep in mind that everything in the "Slow Down" CD is produced and performed totally by me. Right now my direction is to create a performing duo or trio centered on strong vocals and find a lead (acoustic) guitar player and build from there. I am also available as a bass plyer in country music. Also I am looking for collaborative songwriting. I need people with vision who are not addicted to anything, who understand the time it takes and are committed to lifelong music production. I am also willing to lend myself to studio music production. Contact me at (570) 283-5492 [email protected] for quickest response.
