About Me

I'm Pete, I graduated from a Creative Writing degree at Bretton Hall (Leeds Uni) in 2006, and have since been working on and off, more off than on! I work a pretty crappy job, but the people I work with make up for it. I tend not to make plans, I just have ideas of what I want to do. I want to see the world and explore, the list of countries and places I want to visit is constantly getting longer, but I am working with the intention of getting away and shortening that list. I think 50 countries is a good target to aim for, and by that I mean spend at least a few nights in each one. I'm easygoing, friendly, occasionally a bit mad, but basically I just wanna have a laugh!

Primarily here to keep in touch with mates from all over the place, but will undoubtedly meet new people too.

I have favourite things, I have pet hates, and I understand that not everyone I meet will like me, and that's fine by me. I say what I mean and I mean what I say, and this bothers some people. I rant and swear quite a bit, and this bothers some people. I don't buy into bullshit trends, I like rock music, I gamble, and someday I want a motorbike, and these things also bother some people. If you are 'some people' then thanks for looking and no hard feelings.

I like people who know who they are and aren't afraid of being themselves, even if sometimes it means looking a bit silly. I like people who are confident but not arrogant, strong-willed but not argumentative, and crazy but not insane.

At the end of the day though, everyone's different and I'm not going to tell you fuck off on principle, so if you want to say hi, just do it!
