art, music, tea, boozing, crazy dancing, harmonising to everything (sorry everyone that has to endure that, i'm aware it gets annoying), people, jokes, family, travel, having a laugh, boyeeeeeeees (only the nice ones though, i detest the stupid liars that treat you like utter crud), friends (the comedy and of course the real thing), the rage, water, SUNSHINE, hate mosquitoes and midges because they don't like me (got the scars to prove it), the manchunian accent, love the scottish weather (joking), cheese, creativity, family trees.........
ON MYSPACE? people i have lost contact with and people that i am still in contact with!! i don't tend to accept people i don't know as my "friends" unless they send me a message first, then half the time i don't accept them. IN REAL LIFE? the kurg clan, the richards clan, teddy off bo selecta (if you know me well, you'll understand!)
i'm not into one particular genre of music. i like to listen to different types depending on the mood i'm in. i'll be listening to indie music one day, folk the next, thrashy metal (emma says "thrashy metal, yeah right!") the next.... you get the idea! some of my FAVOURITES are joni mitchell, michael jackson, bon jovi, queen, aimee mann, bryan adams, the beatles, roxette, abba, dixie chicks, lauryn hill, cara dillon, kylie minogue, crowded house... but i could not possibly write all the music i listen to in one box (it would take far too long and quite frankly... i cannae be arsed!) i've recently been listening to the streets, the kooks, franz ferdinand, gavin degraw, kelly clarkson, and a heck of a lot of RYAN ADAMS and the blood arm, justin timberlakes new album gets me shaking my booty! and seth lakeman's album is gorgeous ....
absolutely love dumb and dumber! infact any jim carrey film as he is the funniest man in the world. big fan of comedies. most musicals, especially grease and annie (i used to be slightly obsessed with these two in particular!) i find the biographical films really good, such as freida, pollock, walk the line, etc. when i was younger, we didn't have the biggest video collection so i watched the same films so many times over, but they have a special place in my heart! examples..... pollyanna, back to the future, teenwolf, hairspray, grease 2 (i want a cooooooool rider), moonwalker, clueless, edward scissorhands.....
i don't watch a lot of tv, but when i do i like watching documentaries (especially channel 5 ones) and globe trekker is fantastic! our flat has every episode of friends on dvd so i watch an episode of that when there's nothing good on.
my favourites have to be.. memoirs of a geisha, the lovely bones, american psycho. in the middle of reading the da vinci code, ben elton's dead famous (my mum's recommendation) and captain corelli's mandolin (my dad's recommendaton!) i'm going to offend people now by saying that i don't know what all the fuss is about with harry potter?! the sad thing is, i wrote this about 6 months ago and i'm still reading the same books... i just haven't had a lot of time on my hands okay?!
my parents. they are the perfect rolemodels!
