I got my first guitar by trading an abe roller with a friend. It was a small childs guitar. I think it was from Sears. I learned my first chords by placing my fingers on the strings and seeing if it sounded okay. If it did, it was a chord. When I figured out three chords I wrote my first song. I also got blisters on my fingers. Even though I am one to give up when any kind of physicle discomfort takes hold, I kept on going. Music is one of those things in my life that I can't explain too well. It keeps me observant. It let's me look at things and situations in many lights and gives me a platform to share lifes little quirks. Nonetheless it is something i know I MUST do to keep my equilibrium, and it is nice to think that folks might get something out of it as well. enjoy
