We have learned the hard way that even though our kids grow up and move out and start lives of their own, we cannot let any opportunity slip by to reach out and let our kids know we love them. Our oldest son David was shot in the back March 28th during a drive by shooting. He will eventually be just fine but his life has been altered permanently. He lost a kidney and had a huge hole blown in his liver. He almost died saving a young woman he's never met, inturn a medic who happened to be in the crowd saved his life. Hero's are everywhere, we just need to recognise them and NEVER forget to let our children know how much we love them no matter how old they are because we never know when they will be stolen from us.---------------------------
