After years of traveling Adam Parker found what he was looking for in a place he wasn't expecting , Copenhagen. During a visit to see 'Kira and the Kindred spirits' play RUST ( CPH) , he met producer Dyre Gormsen , who turned out to be the collaborator he wanted . Over the last year they have been working on Adams forthcoming debut solo album , that has turned into a much wider collaboration with some of the best talent that denmark has on tap .original collaborations included Peter Kibsgaard and having lived in copenhagen and doing a national tour with 'the Spirits' Adam and Dyre have managed to grab Nikolaj Torp , Rune Funch , & Kristoffer Sonne of Warwick Avenue (www.warwickavenuemusic.com) for some great sessions . The very talented cellist Christoffer Ohlson of Blue Foundation fame lends his thick dark style to 5 of the tracks , and Naturally we swiped every member of Kira and the Kindred spirits ,Jesper Lind, Rune Kjelson ,Orsen wajih ,and Kira (www.kiramusic.com) for bits of edge and colour ! the final majic came from a chance encounter in Granada with the very wonderful singer Therese Kaisner , who had the time to lend herself to many of the tracks .Adam and dyre have taken their time primarily to wait until the right person for the right track could come over and play . Everyone so busy , but we're nearly done . We will try to be ready for release soon !A BRIEF HISTORY OF ADAM PARKER ; - In 1994 He left england , where he grew up , to move to Los Angeles . The next six years he spent as a guitarist , but he wanted to do more and express more , than just play guitar . When he came back to the U.K. he studied music at Kingston University ,during which time he worked with legendary Drum and Bass producer Dij (React2Rythm).
