Last Summers Day are a five-piece band from the south coast of the UK.
They have spent the best part of the last year refining their own unique brand of pop-metal, combining the pace and aggression of recent metalcore with the huge harmonies and catchy choruses of common pop punk, and blending the two extremes in to one another with some synth, creating something fresh and innovative yet nothing too experimental. Being armed with this new style will hopefully allow them to turn as many heads as possible by tackling the underground scene without being labelled as generic.
March 2009 will see Last Summers Day release their debut single through Feet Casino Records and they seriously can't wait to get it out there to you guys! Shortly after the release they will be heading back in to the studio to track the EP, set for release in the Summer of 09. Meanwhile, they will be booking up some cool shows across the UK and finishing off the new material.
