I'm an aspiring singer and writer.
I'm 22 and a senior at Central--majoring in English w/ a minor in Creative Writing. (I'm a year behind because I changed my major twice, but I'm definitely graduating by May 2008.)
I'm a music FREAK. Singing is my sixth sense. My vocal range is D3 to D5 (full voice) and I'm pretty proud of that. :) I was in an all girls jazz choir in high school and did All State for two years. I'm now in ACAbellas, an all girls a capella choir at CCSU. I sing mostly Alto and I do much of the beat-boxing (vocal percussion)--which is some pretty fun stuff, let me tell you.
I'm part of Phi Sigma Sigma--I love those ladies so much :) Sorority has been a blessing to me and is the reason I have survived so long at school. I hate stereotypes, so if you want to know more about it, just ask.
I'm into politics and debate..I'm a leader, not a follower--and so I THINK for myself. I believe that for anyone to just go along w/ with any particular party is extremely limiting. When it comes to politics, I'm mostly concerned about the environment and the direction in which our natural world is heading.
I immensely appreciate sarcasm, so I'm very sarcastic, but in a good way. Obviously. :) I also I tend to get along with most people--unless the person happens to be an asshole. I definitely hate drama--my biggest pet peeve is cattiness and immaturity especially at the expense of others.
I'm extremely creative. I love art. I absolutely love to paint and draw and take pictures. I write A LOT (especially poetry) because I have a talent for it and it's basically my outlet for everything. I also have a fascination with quotes and lyrics to songs. I'm a self-proclaimed Grammar-Nazi. I love having debates over semantics. I'm fascinated by accents and dialects. I love banter and have a knack for being pretty darn witty.:)
I'm an actress at heart. I love to sing and dance around the room in my free time.:P
I love having philosophical conversations. I believe in God, but as merely a symbol of spirituality and purpose. As far as I can see, my own hope and my own spirituality offers more to me than any church or prayer could ever offer. Above all else, I have faith in myself.
I believe people are who they are and we shouldn't pick them apart. "Live and let live."
I love my eyes.
"Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" is truly the most brilliant film ever created.
I truly am a sucker for anything acoustic.
I like to take naps during the day.
I love camping in Canada and Maine.
I'm Irish and Hungarian, so naturally I want to travel to both Ireland and Hungary someday. :)
