Daymaker have seized that chance, this 3 piece originals band from Sydney Australia is a new collaboration of energy and history. Humble beginnings saw drummer Kenny and bassist Jakob, in an outfit named "Room 101" years ago, more recently Kenny teamed up with singer/guitar
ist Rosie in other endeavours "Company Caine" and "Clockdoctor". As darkness fell upon Clockdoctor in late 2007, a new sun rose as Kenny was reunited with Jakob, in early 2008 Daymaker was born.
Daymaker is set apart from the rest in the world of alternative rock bands by their versatility. Various styles and influences is the genetic make up of a powerful and enigmatic yet subtle Daymaker. At any one Daymaker performance you can be witness to hard edged progressive rock to please moshers alike, all the way to tasty mainstream contemporary rock tunes.
Armed with new material, new lineup and a new outlook Daymaker will be heading into the studio in the near future to record a debut EP, be on the lookout for up and coming gigs as Daymaker spread light in and around Sydney showcasing their their new material, come and see the light.
