About Me
Little is known of the birth and early life of Neil Weaver. Thought to have been born in Coahoma, a small hamlet on the outksirts of Glasgow, in August/September of 1989, Neil was born the son of coalminer's daughter (father unknown).
He was found on the doorstep of the recently married Nick and Paula Weaver (nee Foster), some 300 miles souther in the white supremacist village of West Heath, on Boxing Day of that same year, and the couple took the boy in as their own.
Brought up on a musical diet of Elston Gunn and Wee Willie Harris, his earliest memories are of listening intently to his adoptive father's bedtime stories, notably that classic children's tale, 'August 1914' by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn.
In his early teens, Neil found 'Balloon Mindstate', the teachings of the three prophets of the Daisy Age; Posdenous, Trugoy and Maseo, in a hidden cupboard beneath his wardrobe. It was to be a life-changing moment.
From then on, Neil has wandered the globe, guitar-in-hand, spreading the word of the three prophets, and teaching the message of love to all from Northfield to Neverland.
"Won't you please tell me
Why are you so full of anger?
Is it because you've got a faulty mammary gland
Just like Monsiuer Scaramanga?
When I lie alone at night
I see my window, wide-eyed, empty.
I've tried to keep you in my sights,
But how, the wind, it tries to tempt me.
These things that run through my head
Have landed me in trouble before.
At times I've wished that I was dead,
Instead, I'm standing at your door."
