~:*:~ From the beginning of time, in nearly all cultures, people have adorned their bodies with metals and jewels. My hobby has now become an obsession in which I twist, bend, and wrap wire into beautiful little bits of wearable art. I use only primitive tools and I create my pieces using sterling silver, fine silver, copper, semi-precious stones, intresting beads and items I find on the beaches of Lake Michigan. I am inspired by the fantasy elements of Celtic Legends, and ancient history~ stories of knights, pirates, wizards, gypsies, kings and queens. I have a particular attraction to the Legend of King Arthur. I love to wander renaissance faires in search of inspiration.
Many of my works are available in shops and galleries throughout Michigan. I also teach wire workshops at local shops.
