Wunn contines to stick to his "real music" formula that's made him every hip-hop fan's dream artist.
Delion Diaz was born on December 12th, 1986 in Lawrence, Massachusetts; a small town 10 minutes outside Boston. A year later he moved to Brooklyn just before the birth of his younger sister. After her untimely death in 1991, D moved to where he would become the man and artist he is today, the Southside of Jamaica, Queens. He began rapping when he was nine, wrote his first song at eleven and took music on at 13. By the time he was 15, he began recording & released his first album at 17. He signed a production deal with an independent imprint that was focused on getting him a big time deal. Releasing his first mixtape in 2003 paved the way to his debut album in 2004.
In the process of recording his second album, eager to show & prove, D. Wunn broke from his label after nearly 3 years. Maintaining his hustler's ambition he continued to work on music despite not having a team behind him. But with one phonecall, D. Wunn was only a free agent for a mere 10 minutes. D. Wunn works consistently with one of Chicago's finest producers, Diaz Millenia (who's also worked with Lupe Fiasco, CL Smooth, Royce Da 5'9', Graf & Rhymefest). After parting ways with his former label, he was focused ..ing his album. Aware that the streets were highly anticipating him, D. Wunn continued recording. Within 8 weeks he crafted an exceptional LP and continued his climb to success.
In 2007, the Dominican Queens native brought his latest effort, "One Way Street." The album quickly became popular amongst his steadily growing fanbase and those who were introduced to him for the first time. In recognition of his entrepreneurial spirit, D. Wunn became the Director of Promotions & Marketing for Reign Music & Media, LLC; an independent media company based in Staten Island, NY. As if he doesn't have enough under his umbrella, he also co-hosts "Reign Radio", an internet radio station. D. Wunn continues to stray away from growing trends to carve his own lane.
