A Gemini by sign and an artist by soul, Hierro is a flamenco guitarist of a new generation. Drawing from flamenco, jazz and acoustic, his music combines diverse influences cast into the singular shapes of the arte flamenco – the solea, the fandangos, the alegrias and the rumba. Each piece follows the style of the flamenco canon, but also departs from the traditional forms in emotion and feeling, imparting a modern feel and an open touch to Hierro’s music.
