B Cole

Blowing in from the windy city, comedian, actor, director and producer B* Cole has spent the past decade molding himself as one of this generations’ greatest entertainers. Starting his career at a young age B* Cole performed at clubs and colleges all over the United States and made his television debut at the age of twenty on BETs Comic View, hosted then by D. L. Hughley. B*Cole reached a pinnacle when he was awarded his own hour Grandstand Special on BETs COMIC VIEW in 1996. B*Cole has captured audiences across the country with his original side-splitting thought-provoking material. His signature comical piece, “I’m in Love with a Crack Head”, is a satirical love poem about a drug addict girlfriend that steals his possessions. This internationally acclaimed poem inspired B. Cole to develop the concept into a film. In 1999, B*Cole wrote, produced and co-directed his first movie short “I’m in Love with a Crack Head”. This urban cult classic garnered local success and inspired B*Cole to explore his creativity and showcase it on film. In the year 2002, B*Cole wrote and starred in his first feature length film, “A Get2gether” – a story about a first year college student, home for the summer planning to have a small get together with a few college friends, while his parent are away for the weekend. What ensues is a huge house party of monumental proportions! “A Get2Gether” has been showcased in several festivals and won Best Independent film award at the 2005 Chicago Comedy Awards. The buzz and local success of the film garnered a National distribution deal in 2007 with Urban Works/First Look Studios. B*Cole was also awarded the TRUTH Magazines Robert Townsend Award for his sketch comedy show “The B*Cole Show”. Two of his skits, “Crazy Bitch” & “Shout Out”, can be viewed on YouTube.com and have received over 50,000 hits and counting. B*Cole appeared on Bill Bellamy’s “Who Got Jokes” for TV One in 2007 and Russell Simmons Def Comedy Jam on HBO in 2008. There’s no slowing down for the multi-talented artist as he continues to write and produce timeless comedy for the big screen. B*Cole is an actor, writer and comedian who continue to shine through his incredible ability to not just create a story but his ability to breathe life into each hilarious character.
