Stu & The Bouncing Balls

About Me

The Balls first hopped the bandwaggon around 1990 with the aim, aiding the jumping and pumping tunes from the mid to late 40s a second life. (A while before the Neo-Swing-wave flooded Europe! - We are very proud of that fact!) - It was the missing link between the great Swing-Orchestras from the 30s to the first steps into the Rhyrhm & Blues and Rock'n'Roll craze, called JUMP BLUES. - Lightyears ahead of things to come. Enthusiastically idolized by heroes like Louis Jordan, Roy Milton, Jay McNeely, Rusty Bryant, Joe Liggins, Joe Lutcher and all those today nearly forgotten guys and dolls. In the years of the first bandlife up to 2001, the Bouncing Balls played all over Europe, France, Netherlands, England, Belgium, Swiss and most of the major festivals like Burghausen or Gronau or simply a stint at the 100 Club on Londons' Oxford Street.
Now, after a seven year break, the Balls hit the road to the land of Oo-Bla-Dee again. Same backline, but with a new real gone chirpster on the mike, our high-priestess of Jive. Packed with loads of jamming, jumping and swingin' tunes to get hip to whatever Jive you like! Join with us the holy-trinity of Louis: Jordan, Armstrong and Prima!
