One sunny afternoon, on Tuesday, July 8th 2008, a revolution in the modern metal society took place. Two young, up-coming guitarists known only as The Finger Drum Duo sat down and began to make stuff. All they had was one guitar (BC Rich), one amp (Line 6) and one... FINGER DRUM KIT (Argos)! The idea was to take metal to a new level by not having a human drummer or bassist within the band. The only live instrument was an electric guitar, the rest is a simple finger-played, battery operated drumkit. Within minutes of making the band, the first song was being made and just a few minutes later it was actually finished. Using only a Logitech webcam's microphone to record, it's obvious that the sound quality thus far is not perfect. Improvements will be made as new songs are recorded and finalised. Recording more tracks as we speak, The Finger Drum Band look set to have completed their first album in no time! No vocals have been added as of yet but will be included in the near future. The very near future. Watch this space...
