Probably one of the few people you'll meet who are originally from Huntersville. I grew up in a plantation house my great great grandfather built on a dairy farm down a dirt road, you dont get much more "original" than that. I always thought I'd leave the first chance I got, but I think I've gotten a little too attached to home, my sisters & my baby niece. Oops, scratch that. I just moved to Colorado with my brand new husband David. I live just outside of Denver. It's summer and we had to light the fireplace yesterday! I have a feeling I am not going to like this place too much ;)... I already miss my family like crazy, but David was right about friends when he said, "out of sight out of mind." It's sad but true, that about 90% of the people you talked to everyday forget you're gone the second you cross the state line... but life goes on and I'm head over heels for my husband and so excited about our new life together. And guys, please stop making bets on when I'm gonna get pregnant... ...because, i officially... am. David and I are expecting our baby in April. I was off to a rough start, but I think Im finally to the point where I can start enjoying it. And don't let all my complaining fool you, I couldn't be more excited. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a girl, and Dave wants a boy. But either way, I don't think Ive ever been happier or looked forward to anything more in my life... funny how what you thought you always wanted can change from hearing a little heartbeat...
