Hi Heels was formed sometime around summer of 2003 by Isac, Timothy., Johnny and Nicholas. The idea for a band had been around for quite a while but it was Isac's garage, beer and skateboarding that brought it all together.
Just after 3 rehearsals, yet unnamed band recorded 3 untitled songs with the 4-track in Isac's garage. Engineering wizard Teemu Aalto did his magic, recording/mixing the songs and the first ever Hi Heels demo saw the daylight.
The band was named Hi Heels by a friend of the band after a few beers in a bar (thanks Kiri) and the name stuck.
Summer of 2004 saw an addition to the Hi Heels roster, when Ivan joined to play the second guitar.
Hi Heels continued to write and rehearse new material. At the end of september 2004 Hi Heels recorded a 5-track studio EP titled "It was just a dream".
