The question isn't who is going to let me; it's who is going to stop me.

About Me

Create your own custom MySpace Layouts

Living passionately has become a priority for me. I've recently started my own business that allows me to utilize my creative potential while sharing my gift with others. --------www.melissaprickett.com----------------------------- ---------------------------"Re-examine all you have been told in school or church or in any book, and dismiss whatever insults your own soul; and your very flesh shall be a great poem, and have the richest fluency, not only in words, but in the silent lines of its lips and face and between the lashes of your eyes and in every motion and joint of your body." -Walt Whitman

My Interests

Stimulating conversation; spending time with people that are authentic and allow the same of me; drinking wine and appreciating different cuisines (Indian and Thai are my current favorites); frequent massages; an occasional nap; reading; art (Frida Kahlo, Tamara de Lempicka, Renoir, Picasso are my faves); architechture; fashion; musicals; operas (Madame Butterfly is amazing); music that moves my soul; films that make me think or challenge me; studying world religions; studying the way the mind works--psychology studies intrigue me; laughing; a child's smile and wisdom; sunshine; a warm breeze; making a difference in the lives of others.

I'd like to meet:

Television:

Books:

Reading is one of my favorite past times. I read mostly non-fiction--topics such as religion, metaphysics, and mind-body type health books. A few of my favorites: Seat of the Soul, the Power of Now, Dance of the Dissident Daughter, Conversations with God, New World/New Mind, Griffin and Sabine, The Little Prince, Anatomy of the Spirit

Heroes:

I don't believe I've ever had one. I admire many people, but the label "hero" insinuates a disparity in my own equality with the individual deemed a hero. Submissiveness is foreign to me...
