About Me
Sorry I only add people who are my friends outside of "my space" or that I have worked with........ How do you describe yourself in a paragraph? How do you describe yourself without sounding conceded or cocky? Well here goes nothing…….. I was born in Inglewood California and raised in Sylmar California so I am a native. I was adopted as a baby by the nurse who delivered me at the hospital! I had the most wonderful parents that anyone could ever ask for; they were like Ozzy and Harriet Nelson, never fought or argued. And my sister (Georgenia)is an amazing woman and teacher with two beautiful older children (Geoff and Heather)&(Angie, Geoff's wife). I recently had the wonderful opportunity to meet my birth mother (Yolanda)and I have two full blooded sisters (Pam and Debbie)and a full blooded brother(Rick)! And now with all the new nephews (Jessie and Justin)and nieces (Wendy, Christina, Chynna and Sierra), I have a huge family now. I am truly blessed with two families who love me. I grew up n Valencia California and went to Hart High School. I was “Miss Sylmar†and did the beauty pageant circuit. I modeled in the 80’s and worked on a lot of movies and TV shows but never really wanted to be an actress. I had the opportunity to work in the Olympics as a placard bearer. And then became a Playboy Bunny, great training and experience. Since acting wasn’t my thing and modeling was OK, I was interested in becoming a make up artist. I had so many people do my make up, so I decided to go to school for it. I went to school at Joe Blasco School of make up and I was very fortunate that Joe himself taught me make up. I love my job and wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world, well almost anything! Lol I have worked in the industry as a make up artist for almost 20 years now and it is never dull or boring. I get to work with new people and new locations all the time. I travel a lot with my work, and I love to travel, bags are all ways packed! I have been to a lot of different countries and had a blast seeing the sights. I love architecture and antiques’, so visiting Europe is a thrill. I am an antiquecoholic, and I love to go to auctions. My furniture in my home is from the 1800’s Victorian, but I love the 40’s and 50’s stuff too. I bought a fixer from the 40’s, in the hills of Studio City and have been working on and off, on it for 4 years. I m also working on a 1941 Ford truck, it is my baby! It has been a long hard project too. I love cars and motorcycles, had a couple of Harley’s but got tired of them being stolen. Don’t have good luck with vehicles and thieves, must have been a horse thief in a previous life! Lol In the 80’s, I was known as roller girl. I worked on “Roller boogieâ€, “Skate Town†and so many other skating movies. I still have my tennis shoe skates from the 80’s and occasionally I go to Venice Beach and roller skate. In my spare time, I like to spend time with friends and family. Grab a bite to eat, movies or shopping! Right now all of my shopping has been on my house, new doors, a turret, and hard wood floors! I love to learn about the planets and look out into the stars and hope that the mother ship will come and take me back home! Lol But really, I am into the alien theories and love the ghost phenomenon. Anything super natural and I am hooked. I am a sucker for new products in the new age medicine and holistic practices. I am a Vegan and a tree hugger and have been one for almost 28 years. I don’t preach but I may tease you about eating meat, it’s your Karma! I’m also an animal activist and try to put together benefits to raise money for the animal organizations. I am starting to put together another one this year, it is my passion. I am a very honest and loyal person. I guess that is me in a very large nut shell! When I have more time I will be adding pictures and some fun behind the scenes of some of the photo shoots that I have worked on and maybe a little more about me…. Blessed Be, Teri
