Franco Cersosimo in arte "Fast Frank", di origini mediterranee ma nato e cresciuto a Torino, appassionato di musica "nera" inizia a suonare la chitarra all'eta' di diciassette anni in Rock Bands come Delshay, Papa Psicotica, per poi avvicinarsi nella seconda meta' degli anni novanta, al più genuino Chicago Blues (Blue Feelin', Viola Lee Blues, Hot Wires, Blues Syndicate). Nel 2000, con il Fast Frank and the Hot Shout Blues, si avvale della collaborazione di musicisti provenienti dall'ambiente Jazz-Blues dell'area torinese; nel 2004 è fra i selezionati per l'Obiettivo Bluesin' del Pistoia Blues Festival, e nello stesso anno inizia la sua collaborazione con Dario Lombardo,uno dei più noti e apprezzati bluesmen nazionali - dapprima suo maestro - ,l'armonicista torinese Andrea "Rooster" Scagliarini e,dal 2006,con il sassofonista americano Larry Cheeley(membro stabile della funambolica Skin Tight Band oltre che affermato session man al fianco di tanti protagonisti del Blues,da Albert Collins a Earl King) . Nel 2007 è fra gli artisti presenti al Poggio Murella Blues Festival,e sempre nel 2007 divide il palco al fianco di artisti come Slep,Dario Lombardo,Massimo Altieri ne" La notte delle chitarre Blues" del Gilgamesh Blues Festival. Nel 2008 fa da open act per i concerti torinesi della cantante afroamericana(Chicago,Illinois) Delores Scott, e Mud Morganfield(sempre da Chicago, Illinois, figlio della leggenda Blues Muddy Waters), Amar Sundy(2009). Il Blues da lui proposto trova grandi punti di riferimento nella musica di maestri come Little Junior Parker, B.B. King, Albert Collins, Little Milton, Johnnie Taylor, T-Bone Walker, Buddy Guy, Magic Sam, Muddy Waters, Percy Mayfield, Luther Johnson Jr., Earl Hooker, Jimmy Dawkins, Luther Allison, Otis Rush, Junior Wells, Phil Guy, Eddie Taylor... *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*- *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*- *-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*Franco "Fast Frank" Cersosimo has mediterranean origins but was born and grew up in Torino (in the north of Italy).Passionated about "black" music, he starts playing guitar at the age of seventeen, in Rock Bands as Delshay, Papa Psicotica, then getting closer, in the second half' of the nineties, to the most genuine Chicago Blues (Blue Feelin', Viola Lee Blues, Hot Wires, Blues Syndicate).In 2000, with the Fast Frank and the Hot Shout Blues, he uses some collaborations of musicians coming from the Jazz-blues environment of the Turinese area; in 2004 he is among the selected for the Obiettivo Bluesin' of the Pistoia Blues Festival, and in the same year he begins his collaboration with Dario Lombardo, one of the most known and appreciated national bluesmen - at first his teacher -, the harmonica player Andrea "Rooster" Scagliarini and, from 2006, with the American saxophonist Larry Cheeley (stable member of the Skin Tight Band beside being an affirmed session man with so many protagonists of the Blues, from Albert Collins to Earl King). In 2007 he is among the artists at the Poggio Murella Blues Festival, and again in 2007 he shares the stage with artists as Slep, Dario Lombardo, Massimo Altieri in " The Night Of The Blues Guitars" of the Gilgamesh Blues Festival.In 2008 he opens the Turinese concerts of the Afro-american (Chicago, Illinois) singer Delores Scott and Mud Morganfield (again from Chicago, Illinois, the son of the Blues legend Muddy Waters), Amar Sundy(2009).The Blues that he proposes finds great points of reference in the music of masters as Little Junior Parker, B.B. King, Albert Collins, Little Milton, Johnnie Taylor, T-Bone Walker, Buddy Guy, Magic Sam, Muddy Waters, Percy Mayfield, Luther Johnson Jr., Jimmy Dawkins, Luther Allison, Otis Rush, Junior Wells, Phil Guy, Eddie Taylor...
