Dawn of the Day of the Night of the Dying Alive

I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I like to smile, even though I fake it half the time. I wear bunny slippers and carry a big stick.
Ignorance is bliss, and I know things.
Further examination can be done at my personal portfolio site at idgonemad.net .
About How I Use MySpace:
I have no interest in trivial relationships or your MySpace Public Relations bullshit. Take it to someone who cares about having a thousand e-Friends on some lame site. I'm here for the real people.

My Interests

I'm a bit of a writer, I'm a bit of an artist, and I'm a bit of a bastard. I am a huge fan of clever. I find I like the idea of people enough to let it slide that most people kinda suck and just enjoy them as they are, faults and all, so I'm interested in humans and humanity.

I'd like to meet:

Old friends that haven't turned into apathetic, ambitionless wastes of space. New friends that are interesting and engaging. Local sorts interested in expanding their social groups. Party people who like to make some noise. People that have grown past pretense and drama - at least mostly, anyway, since I guess a little pretense could be fun.

Music:

KMFDM, Dead Kennedys, Prick, Mindless Self Indulgence, Misfits, Elvis Costello, Spahn Ranch, Gary Numan, Danzig, Siouxsie, Devo, Esham, Black Flag, Kidney Thieves, Voltaire, My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult, Alien Sex Fiend, The Doors, KOMPRESSOR, Christian Death, Bowie, The Rentals, Aphex Twin, X-Ray Spex, Laibach, Pixies, PIG, Rob Zombie, Bella Morte, Butthole Surfers, Ministry, Soft Cell, World/Inferno Friendship Society, Iggy Pop, Big Electric Cat, Minibosses, Prince, Rammstein, Ministry, The Killers, Mohammed Rafi, Tom Waits, Bauhaus, The Mamas & The Papas, Fugazi, Lords of Acid, Crass, the Clash, See Colin Slash, Sex Pistols, Big Electric Cat, Quincy Punx, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Zombina and the Skeletones, et cetera.

Movies:

Some Favorites: Paper Moon, House of 1,000 Corpses, Donnie Darko, George Romero's Dead films, Kung POW, Evil Dead, Return of the Blind Dead, Star Wars films, Matrix films, Ravenous, The Life Aquatic, Payback, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Dead Alive, Mars Attacks!, Barbarella, The City of Lost Children, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, Alien and Predator films, Return of the Living Dead films (except Necropolis!), They Live, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, A.I., Clockwork Orange, Shaun of the Dead, and so many more.

Television:

Television is just what happens between commercials. Do your brain a favor and just rent the DVDs.

Books:

Currently Reading, Referencing, or Planned Reading: Night's Daughter: Tales from the Flat Earth (Tanith Lee); On Death and Dying (E. Kubler-Ross); Art of War (Sun Tzu); Memories, Dreams, Reflections (C.G. Jung); Don Quixote (Cervantes); Demian (Herman Hesse); Beyond Good and Evil (Nietzsche); Blue Cats and Chartreuse Kittens (Patricia Lynne Duffy); Guns, Germs, and Steel (Jared Diamond); Confessions of a Knife (Richard Selzer); Gray's Anatomy; The Western World

Heroes:

Hiro, from that show Heroes. His boundless enthusiasm inspires me to bend time and space for great justice.

The Thing About My Balls

Some random Brazillians, with doubtlessly noble political intentions, bolster their essays with art images found on the internet. The big problem being not that they borrowed the images without asking...

Only At Wal-Mart

Only at Wal-Mart can you see something like this: That would be two boxes of Winchester unplated buckshot ammunition discarded rather indifferently in the toy aisles. God bless America.    ...

Courting the Night

This is a poem I wrote and submitted to the Sherwood Forest Literary Journal at John Tyler, which won me phat loot ($25) and second place (to a questionably "better" poem that did little more than say...

What Have I Been Doing?

I get this question here and there, and often am too bombed on sleep aids to really have an answer.  Some evidence that I was, indeed, doing something can be found at my (scrawny) portfolio websi...

929 Grace Street - The 3rd End

First, there was Twisters, and lo' - it was good.  Well, it was a dive owned by a dickhead of a crackhead, but it was pretty much all we had.  It was a mess of a place and we loved it. ...
