Zaplin Vermie

Zaplin Vermie is a twenty-one year old independent artist from Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He first picked up the guitar at eleven and taught himself. Shortly thereafter, he began composing his own music, set to his lyrics as well. He played in a handful of small bands as an adolescent, ascending to a house-party band during his undergraduate years at Cornell College as well as being featured in a wedding. Zaplin enjoys playing his music live because he is an innate improviser and supremely savors the spontaneity manifest in live music. He currently resides in Cedar Rapids, and has just completed his third home studio recording, The Thirst of Sound.
