Arkive

About Me

Arkive is one man...Noah D. Goldstein. He began his career as a hiphop DJ in his bedroom. Soon he began spinning in the local Philadelphia club scene. After his success in Philadelphia as a DJ, he proceeded to produce his own orignal music with the electronic hiphop group Crooked Soul . Following this groups inception, Arkive joined the experimental heavy metal group Architects of a Broken Design in which he makes up the electronic section of the band. His sound varies between indie Hip Hop, electronic, and melodic experimental music. Arkive has recently started a solo career as a laptop artist based out of Philly, and joined the Seclusiasis team of DJs, producers, MCs, designers, and promoters. Seclusiasis includes the likes of Dev79, Starkey, Stumble, and Generic Man to name a few. Also, Arkive has excelled in the audio engineering field working with artists such as Boy Sets Fire, Bob Dylan, Carlos Alomar, Reuban Rodriguez, Steven "Blood" Bernstein, Don Byron, The Paul Green School of Rock, Aaron "Ace" Levinson, Caveman, Jedi Mind Tricks, Silvertide, DJ Muggs, Kenny Arnoff, Ray Viera, Matt Santry and Philly's own Stargazer Lily, Starkey, The Divining, Dean Davidson, Starskream, and Fat City Reprise. Arkive has recently been appointed Vice President of Ropeadope Digital; an online version of the ever-innovative Ropeadope records...home of Charlie Hunter, DJ Logic, Tin Hat Trio, The Philadelphia Experiment, Sex Mob, and a slew of others. This label will be the lnternet extension of it's bigger brother, and feature completely original material from a group of exciting established and new artists. The variety of music heard on Ropeadope Digital is bound to be the future of music as a whole. Check out Ropeadope Records for more info, and some of the hottest gear around. Presently, Arkive is residing in Reykjavik, Iceland where he is working at one of the premiere studios in the country. Keep an eye out for Arkive wherever music is made.-- -- -- -- -- -- -- CDBABY LINK for CROOKED SOUL: Break Bread & Nails --
