Paul Messis

Paul Messis is a songwriter based in Billingshurst West Sussex. Paul has been creating Garage Punk Style Music since 2002.Paul plays Old Guitars, Old Combo Organs, and sings into Old Shure Microphones, He tries very hard to create a similar style of music which came out in 1960s America particularly sounds from the following states, Michigan, Minesotta, Texas and the New England Regions, he also attempts a bit of a Dutch 60s beat sound and also incorporates a bit of 60s Surf into his songs.Paul's music is his own personal Blues, tales of teenage angst, working the 9 to 5, lost love and frustration. He has self released four cd's all with various degree's of success and written over 200 songs.2009 see's the release of the first ever Paul Messis 45 single released by State Records. Recorded on the 11th and 12th April at Shay Exotica Sandgate Sound Studios in Kent.
